Provizio is a system for home monitoring of glaucoma, a common eye disease. Sooner or later it causes irreversible blindness in every glaucoma patient. Today there are 80 million people suffering from the disease worldwide, and it is incurable. One of the key causes of the disease is the elevated intraocular pressure. It has to be monitored every day in the same way as blood pressure is monitored for heart patients or sugar level for diabetics.Our system connects doctor and patient in real time and allows the patient to monitor intraocular pressure at home.
